Jeff Terry's Astrophotos/Bob Piatek's Saturn.jpg

The original image was provided by Bob Piatek.

The bottom image is original, pretty good in its own right.

Both the top and middle images are after processing in iCCD.

The top image was processed using iCCD's Lucy-Richardson doconvolution routine with a sin function.

The middle image used the Van Cittert deconvolution with an exponential function.

Following the deconvolution, the image was denoised and leveled.

I am pretty happy with these routines on lunar and planetary images.

The Lucy-Richardson does OK on DeepSky. You can't go too far without significant donuting of stars.
