The top image was processed in iCCD. First, the ddp routine was used.

Next a Lucy-Richardson deconvolution was performed.

The middle image was the original image collected with an SBIG ST-10XE using CCDSoft.

The bottom image was processed with only the ddp routine in iCCD.

Following the deconvolution, the image was denoised and leveled (excessively) in Photoshop.

The deconvolution really sharpened the dust lane but at the expense of the added noise.
